The wipe in reviewEarly edition
Twenty six days, one eleven thousand scrap spin, and mento walks off with the crown
The map went up at 13:56 on 03 SEP, seed 669039719, four thousand two hundred and fifty units of coastline with nobody's footprints on it. Fluk3sh0t did not wait long to make it his: the wipe's first two elite crates, at V6 and then M16, both claimed before the opening hour was out. Down in the water MrMyst was already busy too, four crates off the seabed by 14:57, a habit he never really broke.
The middle of the wipe belonged to whoever was patient or reckless enough to stay at a table or in the wild longest. Katnip's wheel session at Bandit Camp turned a string of bets into the wipe's biggest single payout, eleven thousand scrap, with smaller swings on either side of it for the rest of the season. GrandpaRoger1 quietly logged a single life that ran 101.6 hours, a mark nobody else came near. MrMyst kept returning to the seabed long after his opening four crates, an overnight dive in week three alone bringing up thirty, and by the close of the wipe he'd surfaced 34 in total, more than anyone on the island. Mento spent the same stretch closing the gap on Jeff's NPC count and then clearing it, finishing at 1,106 kills to Jeff's 878.
The final week never quite cleared. Passing showers bookended a squally Sunday and an even squallier Tuesday, fog banks thickening to 0.55 against the island's usual 0.35 haze, with only a light cloud Monday to break it up. By the last day, K9unit was still swiping into Water Treatment Plant and El Agricultor was still bringing in pumpkins, the same harvest that opened his week one spotlight. Across the whole wipe the island counted 21.4 thousand kills, 94.9 thousand barrels stripped, and 580 residents logging 9,896 hours between them.
Three thousand cards, twenty three hundred puzzles, and one room that made its finder wait twelve hours
The alarm log carried the heaviest single traffic of any system on the island across the whole wipe: 3,282 keycard swipes, 2,300 puzzle rooms solved, 1,307 crates started cold. Ty6xxx alone accounted for 140 of those swipes, the most of anyone this season. Most rooms fell inside the hour, but two outliers stood out from the rest: one cracked in thirty minutes on 21 SEP and then sat looted for twelve hours before anyone bothered to collect it, another held out for nearly fifteen hours on 25 SEP and then vanished in under six minutes once it finally gave in. Missile Silo's Z17 turned into the wipe's most contested door, claimed and reclaimed across the season by PJ, mento, and finally runxaxmuck on 28 SEP.
Bandit Camp's wheel hands out eleven thousand scrap and keeps taking smaller bites the rest of the wipe
The tables logged 407 results, 231 bets, and 34 payouts across the season. Katnip's run at Bandit Camp produced the biggest single win of the wipe, 11,000 scrap on one spin, with a smaller echo of it on 16 SEP when a 990 scrap bet came back at 3,960. Not everyone left ahead: Belgium Boy staked 600 scrap on 13 SEP and the wheel kept most of it. El Agricultor sat down at the table more often than anyone else, 25 bets across the wipe, win or lose.
MrMyst ends the wipe as the seabed's busiest resident
The deep saw 91 crates surfaced and 86 full traversals this season. MrMyst finished with 34 crates to his name, more than anyone else on the island, built on the four he pulled up in the wipe's opening hour and the much bigger overnight dive that followed in week three. Stormnado had the next best single stretch, nine crates worked off one patch of seabed on the afternoon of 13 SEP. Mikroft and WifeofMikroft made a habit of the deep together, descending and surfacing in matched pairs across several separate days.
Snake Hates Crocs tends more plots than anyone, and GrandpaRoger1 outlasts everyone alive
The planters turned over 2,831 harvest sessions this wipe against 2,016 life summaries checked in from residents keeping track of how long they'd lasted. Snake Hates Crocs put in more time at the planters than anyone else, 149 harvests across the season, on top of also finishing as this wipe's playtime leader. GrandpaRoger1's single life ran 101.6 hours, the longest stretch alive the island logged all season, a mark that stood from week three all the way to the finale.
Jeff sells more scrap than anyone on the island, and the water still won't give up its fish
NPC vendors cleared 375 scrap sales this wipe, Jeff moving more than anyone else, 13,425 scrap sold across the season. The water stayed stingy the whole way through, five fish landed against seven lost, DaRK's 1,538 unit parachute drop on 06 SEP the standout among just seven jumps logged all wipe. Exxo finished with the most completed missions on the island, five of them, most bunched into the opening days. Thirty six cars went through the shredder and cargo kept moving regardless, 186 egress runs across the season.
Mento closes the wipe with 1,106 NPCs, well clear of last wipe's mark
Across the season the island logged 2,240 elite first-loots, 131 notes played, and 150 wounded healed against 150 assisted, medics usually working in matched pairs at the same moment. Mento finished this wipe's NPC count at 1,106 kills, ahead of Jeff's 878 and well past the 899 that closed out the season before it. Mento also claimed the most elite first-loots of the wipe, 112 of them, a fair share pulled from the same contested door at Missile Silo that so many others fought over across the season.
The wipe's specialists
Katnip's 11,000 scrap payout remains the number nobody else came close to touching, and GrandpaRoger1's 101.6 hour life quietly outlasted every other resident on the island. Mento's 112 elite first-loots and Jeff's 13,425 scrap sold were the two longest, steadiest grinds of the season, the kind that don't need a single dramatic screenshot to matter.
The marks the new season had to beat
Last wipe closed with PJ's 899 NPC kills standing as the number to chase, EasyStr33t's 242.2 hours as the island's longest stay, and rabidkevin's flat zero coins looted as a record of a different sort entirely, one this wipe never had reason to touch since the coin didn't exist for it. Two of the three marks fell this season: mento's 1,106 NPCs and Snake Hates Crocs's 279.5 hours both went past them.
How the season moved
Week one: eight thousand five hundred and ninety seven kills, one parachute jump, and a wheel that gave and took in the same night. Spotlight: El Agricultor, 75.3 hours on the island and a single life that ran 53.1 hours.
Week two: Katnip broke the wheel at Bandit Camp for eleven thousand scrap. Spotlight: Katnip, 29.6 hours on the island touching eight different systems in a single week.
Week three: a single life ran past a hundred hours and GrandpaRoger1 didn't blink. Spotlight: bmcintyre1878, 37.5 hours on the island across nine systems, seven elite crates claimed.
Grading the wipe day's three predictions
Wipe day bet that nobody would touch EasyStr33t's 242.2 hour finish. That one fell: Snake Hates Crocs closed the season at 279.5 hours, well past it. It also bet that PJ's 899 NPC kills would draw a genuine challenger rather than just a fast start. That held, and then some: mento finished at 1,106. And it bet that MrMyst's four crate opening dive was a first line, not a peak. That held too, MrMyst finishing the wipe with 34 crates surfaced in total, the most of anyone on the island.
complexneko
Complexneko's wipe opened on day zero with a swipe into H25 at 17:51, a scientist down twenty minutes later, and a second pass through the same door before the evening was out. By midday on 04 SEP he'd found L24, claimed elite loot there within seconds of swiping level two, and then spent twenty minutes at the wheel: four bets in a row, fifty, fifty, a hundred and nine, thirty nine scrap, and a loss to show for it. He sold 750 scrap to a vendor anyway and walked straight to Missile Silo, where Z17 gave up elite loot twice within ten seconds that afternoon and a third time the next day.
The rest of his wipe settled into something steadier. A life logged on 05 SEP ran a little over sixteen hours alive with fifty one scientists down, and by 07 SEP another stretch reached past fourteen hours. On 09 SEP a life check-in put him at nearly sixteen hours alive with forty five kills to his name, sandwiched around a healing and an assist logged for a companion the same evening. He went under the water with company on 15 SEP, surfaced within the hour, and closed out his run on 25 SEP with one last life logged at just over ten hours alive, thirteen scientists down, a quiet way to end a wipe that opened at a wheel table and a keycard reader.
Snake Hates Crocs closes this wipe at 279.5 hours, the season's longest stay by a wide margin. Watch whether anyone on the new map even tries to chase that number.
Mento finishes on top of the NPC count at 1,106, with Jeff a distant second at 878. Watch whether the new wipe produces a rivalry that stays close the whole way through instead of pulling away in the final weeks.
MrMyst leaves the seabed with 34 crates surfaced, built on one overnight dive that alone brought up thirty. Watch for whoever tries to out-dive him from day one.
