DAY ZERO, SEASON 2026-09

Pure resets under clear skies and fluk3sh0t claims the island's first two elites

The map went up at 13:56 on a clear Thursday, seed 669039719, four thousand two hundred and fifty units of fresh coastline with nobody's footprints on it yet. By 15:00 the island already had its first keycard clicks, its first cracked puzzle rooms, and its first two elite crates, both of them claimed by the same man before the hour was out.

Fluk3sh0t swiped into V6 at 14:31, cleared it to level two inside two minutes, and walked away with the season's first elite loot at 14:33. He did it again at M16 twenty minutes later, a second elite crate at 14:57 while the paint was still wet on the map. Elsewhere the early traffic was gentler: Sofa moved through L6 and M7, RegalBeagle let himself into J16, Liffin into H25, all inside the same forty minutes. Two puzzle rooms got solved without anyone claiming credit, the first taking a little over forty three minutes to crack with its loot sitting untouched for thirteen, the second nearer fifty minutes with a nineteen minute wait after.

Forty seven residents logged in for the opening hour. Between them they put down twenty three NPCs, cracked eight hundred and seventy seven barrels, and burned thirty hours of collective playtime on a map that is not yet two hours old. The sky stayed clear the whole time, which on this island counts as news.

Monuments and alarms

Keycards click across a dozen grids before lunch

The opening hour turned into a scramble for card readers. Fluk3sh0t worked E2, then V6 twice over to level two, then M16 twice over to level two again, the busiest single resident on the alarm log by a wide margin. Sofa moved through L6 and up to M7's second level, RegalBeagle let himself into J16, and Liffin cleared H25, all inside a forty minute window. Two puzzle rooms went quiet and then didn't: the first took a little over forty three minutes to solve, its loot sitting for thirteen minutes before anyone claimed it, the second closer to fifty minutes with a nineteen minute wait after. Nobody's name is attached to either haul, which the island will allow, just this once, on day zero.

The records board

Two elites down before the first hour ticks over

Fluk3sh0t's double at V6 and M16 opens the season's record column, and last wipe's marks are still standing to be shot at: PJ finished with 899 NPCs, EasyStr33t logged 242.2 hours, and rabidkevin closed out the wipe having looted exactly zero coins, a record nobody has yet tried to beat on purpose. Smokie_Giraffe also got the season's ledger moving in a smaller way, playing the island's first recorded note at 14:35.

The farm report

First corn of the season comes up two shades of yellow

Mikroft brought in the first harvest at 14:28, a corn plant carrying the gene string XGWWYW. Smokie_Giraffe followed half an hour later with XYYWWW. Neither is a record, both are the season's first two ears of corn, which on wipeday is enough.

Industry and transit

Three cars go through the shredder inside a minute

Somewhere on the island a run of cars met the shredder in quick succession around 14:35, three of them gone within ninety seconds of each other. MrMyst, mid dive, surfaced long enough at 14:50 to sell 125 scrap to an NPC vendor before going back under.

The deep sea desk

MrMyst pulls four crates off the seabed in under three minutes

Between 14:54 and 14:57, MrMyst worked a stretch of seabed hard enough to bring up four underwater crates in a row, the fastest sustained dive of the island's opening hour.

Last season, closed

What the old map leaves behind

The wipe erased the map but not the ledger. PJ finished last season with 899 NPC kills, a number the new map has not come close to yet. EasyStr33t put in 242.2 hours, the kind of total that makes a season feel less like a wipe and more like a lease. And rabidkevin closed the books having looted precisely zero coins all wipe, a record of a different sort, and one the island seems fond of keeping open.

P1

Nobody touches EasyStr33t's 242.2 hour finish from last wipe before the season ends.

P2

PJ's 899 NPC kills gets a genuine challenger by the finale, not just a fast start.

P3

MrMyst's four crate seabed run in the first hour turns out to be the season's opening line, not its peak.

Watch next week
W1

Fluk3sh0t opened with two elite crates inside the first hour. Watch whether that pace holds or whether the rest of the island catches up.

W2

Day zero's two puzzle rooms took forty three and fifty minutes to fall. Watch whether the early rush cools once the map fills in.

W3

MrMyst's four crate dive was the fastest thing in the water this week. Watch for whoever tries to beat it.
