Ty6xxx breaks the wipe night record twice before lunch
Twenty six days into the 2026-08 season, with two left before the reset, the record that survived every challenge since the opening hour finally gave way. Big Tedies set it on wipe night: twenty one seconds to clear W15's level one and two doors, back to back. PJ came within a second of it in week three and walked away with the loot instead. On Wednesday, Ty6xxx did what nobody else managed all season. At 11:30 he ran the same door in eighteen seconds. A little after noon, back at W15 again, he did it in fourteen, level one at 12:04:16 and level two at 12:04:30. The record the island opened with is the record it closed with, just faster.
Elsewhere the season's quieter storylines settled their accounts too. EasyStr33t, tracked in this paper since wipe day when he arrived already carrying 108 hours, now stands at 237.8, first on Pure's playtime board. His NPC total, by contrast, remains outside that category's top ten. On the ground, livilo0 logged the longest single life of the closing stretch, twenty two hours and three minutes, and Blue Flame spent sixty two percent of a much shorter one, three and a half hours, inside monument walls. Down at the seabed, woofwoof206 put in the longest dive of the week, two hours and eight minutes on the bottom.
The week never gave the island a clear day. Passing showers moved through Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday alike, Saturday eased into light cloud, and Sunday turned squally, fog banks thickening to 0.55 and better than one sample in five turning unsettled, the roughest day the ledger logged all week.
The wipe night record falls, twice, at the same door
Big Tedies set the mark on wipe night, twenty one seconds to clear W15's level one and two doors, and it survived a direct challenge in week three, when PJ missed it by one second at AF8. On Wednesday it finally went, and it went twice. At 11:30, Ty6xxx ran W15's own ladder in eighteen seconds. Just before noon, back at the same door, he did it again in fourteen, level one at 12:04:16 and level two at 12:04:30. The record the season opened with is the record it closed with, at the same grid, faster each time. The same overnight stretch produced twenty eight solved puzzle rooms, most claimed within a minute of completion. The fastest pickup came in under a fifth of a second, at 12:09:56. The slowest sat waiting just under a minute, extravagant by this island's standards.
Nameless Saint hits the same jackpot twice in one season
Saturday morning at K14, Nameless Saint fed the wheel a thousand scrap and watched the next spin return six thousand, the same trick he pulled back in week two. Not every machine was so obliging. Earlier in the week, yaaaa put ten scrap into a Caboose slot machine ten times running in the space of half a minute and got seventy five back once, a net twenty five scrap loss. MissSmoker went further Saturday night, feeding the same kind of machine thirty two times in barely two minutes and somehow walking away five scrap ahead, proof the house doesn't always win, just usually.
woofwoof206 logs the longest dive of the closing week
Just after midnight Monday, woofwoof206 went under and didn't surface again until 03:01, two hours and eight minutes on the seabed, the longest single traverse logged this issue. Mikroft and WifeofMikroft kept up their season long habit of diving together, thirty minutes exactly on Friday afternoon, while salamislices and sunny57 paired up for a shorter trip Tuesday, just over an hour. Active Gamer Inside worked the trench alone Thursday evening, an hour and forty six minutes down and back.
A twenty two hour life, and one spent half asleep
livilo0 logged the longest life of the closing stretch, twenty two hours and three minutes, fourteen animals and seven scientists down before it ended. MAPPYWW1 kept pace on scientists alone, forty four of them inside a life that ran barely two hours and eleven minutes, better than one every three minutes. Blue Flame's life ran shorter still, three hours and thirty seven minutes, but sixty two percent of it, better than two hours, was spent inside monument walls. Zolan's life ran six hours and ten minutes and included three hours and thirty eight minutes of sleep, more than half of it spent unconscious. The fields kept turning regardless, pumpkin, corn, wheat, potato, hemp, and blue, yellow, red and green berries all came off the vine, along with the odd orchid.
Ty6xxx clears the vendor screen four times in less than a day
Between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday midday, Ty6xxx sold out for 2,250 scrap four separate times, at 17:43, 20:57, 07:30 and 11:51, more big sales than anyone else logged all week, and this from a resident carrying barely eighteen hours on the season. Down at the dock, El Agricultor landed four different fish species, salmon, yellow perch, catfish and sardine, inside thirty one minutes just after three in the morning. Doi Doi ran through five missions across the week, three of them inside thirty minutes on Sunday evening. Underneath it all the cargo ship kept its usual clockwork, arriving and leaving every three to four hours without a single recorded incident.
PJ clears four crates at E25 in under a minute
Just before two Wednesday afternoon, PJ cracked four elite crates at E25 in fifty nine seconds flat, 13:39:47 to 13:40:46. Ty6xxx finished the week with seven elite crates opened across four grids, the most anyone logged this issue, on top of his door record afternoon. Two older records went unchallenged: Calamari's 2,178 meter parachute ride from week three held, his own repeat jumps this issue all landing closer to 1,970 meters, and Lamb's sixteen crate Thursday from week two still stands, with nothing this issue coming within eleven of it.
Grading the season's opening predictions
Three predictions went to print on wipe day, and the season has now had its say on all of them.
"Someone crosses 400 hours logged on this seed before the finale" does not hold up. The season's highest logged total sits at 237.8 hours, and nobody came within striking distance of four hundred. Call it wrong.
"Big Tedies' twenty one second double swipe at W15 does not survive the season as the record" holds up completely. It survived a one second miss from PJ in week three and then fell twice in one Wednesday to Ty6xxx, first at eighteen seconds, then at fourteen. Call it right.
"EasyStr33t ends up somewhere near the top of the hours board by day 28" proved conservative. He reaches day 28 at the top of Pure's playtime board with 237.8 hours logged. Call it right.
Whether Ty6xxx's fourteen second swipe at W15 survives the season's final two days, or whether the island finds one more door to open faster before the clock runs out.
Whether EasyStr33t's 237.8-hour lead survives the final two days, and whether his NPC count can reach that category's top ten before the wipe.
The next wipe is two days out. New seed, new map, and somebody out there is about to become this season's Big Tedies.
