WEEK THREE

PJ comes within a second of the season's fastest door, then keeps looting anyway

Eight days remain before this season closes, and Wednesday night into Thursday morning turned into the busiest stretch of monument work Pure has logged in weeks. At AF8, PJ swiped level two at 22:06:13 and level three twenty two seconds later, one second slower than Big Tedies' twenty one second record from wipe night, a mark that has now survived three straight issues of challengers by the thinnest possible margin. PJ didn't seem to mind. By the time the week's ledger closed he had opened ten elite crates, more than anyone else in the digest, working his way from AF8 on Wednesday to E25 on Thursday afternoon and back to AF8 by evening.

Elsewhere the island kept its usual rhythms, just louder. RegalBeagle logged the week's longest recorded life, 16 hours and 34 minutes on the clock before it ended, and Slobbu. packed 113 scientist kills into a life that ran barely over 9 hours. El Agricultor, a name that promises fields, spent twelve minutes and forty four bets at the K14 wheel Thursday morning instead, finishing about 213 scrap short for his trouble. Calamari, already sitting third on the standings, put his parachute through ten runs across Monday and Tuesday, the best of them carrying him 2,178 meters and quietly retiring WifeofMikroft's 1,992 meter mark from two weeks back.

Wednesday opened with showers, rain turning up in roughly one sample in eight. The middle of the week eased into light cloud and passing showers before Monday ran clear from end to end, the kind the ledger reserves for days that actually earn it. Tuesday closed the week squally, fog banks thickening to 0.55 and better than one sample in eight turning unsettled, the roughest day the island logged all week.

Twenty nine puzzle rooms and a swipe one second off the record

Wednesday night into Thursday morning, the island's card readers barely cooled off: 29 puzzle rooms were solved and claimed, the fastest pickup landing in well under a second just after 22:28 Wednesday, the slowest sitting unclaimed for a shade under 42 seconds before anyone bothered to wander back for it. The real story sat at AF8, where PJ ran the level two to level three ladder in twenty two seconds, 22:06:13 to 22:06:35, one second slower than Big Tedies' twenty one second record from opening night, which now stands unbroken across four straight issues. Down the hall, DoctorDampener kept the crate readers busy on his own, starting runs at AD15, AB6, O1 twice and V15, all inside about an hour.

El Agricultor feeds the wheel forty four times before breakfast

Thursday between 04:30 and 04:42, El Agricultor sat down at K14 and put in 44 individual bets, wagering 683 scrap across twelve minutes for 470 scrap back. The best single spin returned 110 scrap on a 10 scrap stake at 04:35:29. The rest of the session drifted the other way, closing out roughly 213 scrap in the red, a quiet morning for a man whose name suggests he'd be happier in the fields.

Twenty one crates in eight minutes, two hours down for another

Monday evening, SerotoninSlumber worked the seabed for eight minutes and ten seconds and came up with 21 crates to show for it. Earlier in the week, Nobody managed a similar pace, 12 crates in six and a half minutes on Friday afternoon. Neither matched the patience of Vicarious, who went down Sunday at 19:13:54 and didn't surface again until 21:24:48, a little over two hours on the bottom, the longest single traverse logged this week.

A sixteen hour life, and one with 113 scientists in it

Thursday's small hours produced the week's standout logbook entries. RegalBeagle's life ran 16 hours and 34 minutes, nine scientists and fourteen animals down and two and a half hours of that spent inside monument walls. An hour later, Slobbu. closed out a shorter life, just over nine hours, having killed 113 scientists along the way, roughly one every five minutes he was alive. Between the two of them, DoctorDampener kept the fields turning, harvesting red berry, blue berry, yellow berry and pumpkin more than once apiece through the same overnight window. Elsewhere, on an island with no PvP to speak of, Skyripa_28's Thursday log somehow shows two player kills, the sort of detail the paper is happy to print and not explain.

Ty6xxx clears the vendor screen twice before the evening's out

Wednesday, Ty6xxx sold out for 2,250 scrap at 17:43 and did it again at 20:57, the kind of haul the island has only seen a handful of times all season. Fishing had its own moment earlier that morning: El Agricultor pulled a salmon, a yellow perch, a catfish and a sardine, four different fish inside thirty minutes just after 3am. Missions stayed steady through the week, TriGGanahmetry finishing three of them in under two hours on Tuesday afternoon, and ralfgp95 doing a pair five minutes apart on Sunday evening. Underneath it all the cargo ship kept its usual clockwork, arriving and leaving every three to four hours without a single recorded incident, aside from one car reduced to scrap on Saturday evening.

Calamari retires last issue's parachute record, PJ leads the crate count

Tuesday evening, Calamari stepped off a ledge and deployed at 51.7 meters for a 2,178 meter ride, past WifeofMikroft's 1,992 meter mark from two issues back. It was one of ten jumps he logged across Monday and Tuesday, most of them clustering just past the two kilometer line. On the ground, PJ finished the week with ten elite crates opened, the most of anyone in the digest, though Lamb's sixteen crate Thursday from two weeks ago remains untouched at the top of the single day board.

W1

Big Tedies' twenty one second double swipe survived a direct challenge this week, PJ missed it by one second at AF8. Whether the season's final stretch finally closes that gap.

W2

EasyStr33t leads Pure in playtime at 227.4 hours, but has yet to crack the island's top ten for NPC kills. Eight days remain to see whether he does.

W3

Calamari's 2,178 meter parachute and Lamb's still standing sixteen crate Thursday both look beatable on an island that keeps proving nothing stays a record for long.
