CyanN logs forty more hours than the leader and still finishes second
Thirteen days into the season the top of the board reads almost exactly as it did last week. TooBy holds first place with 123 hours and 50 minutes on the clock and 2,573 NPCs down, a lead CyanN cannot dent despite parking 164 hours and 52 minutes on the island this week, roughly forty one hours more than the man he is chasing, for 2,383 NPCs and 364 looted coins against TooBy's 123. Baldilocks sits third on 2,124 NPCs and, more strikingly, 1,256 barrels cracked, though even that tally does not touch BudsMcKenzie's 1,621 barrels down in seventh.
The island at large got busier too: 96.6 thousand NPCs killed since last week's 63.0 thousand, 62.2 thousand barrels against 45.8 thousand, and 7,158 hours logged by 616 residents, up from 453. Saturday was the roughest sky of the week, thundery enough to turn unsettled on 32 percent of its samples, while Wednesday and Monday both came in dead clear, not a drop logged on either ledger.
The wheel took a net 461 scrap off the season's top earner before Thursday's breakfast. The house keeps its own scoreboard. Meanwhile the three kill resident from wipe day and Nuktuk Bo's Z12 trail stayed quiet all week. Some threads the island just lets go cold.
Grid F18 turns into the night's revolving door
Between 22:38 Wednesday and 01:12 Thursday, three separate residents worked the card reader at grid F18 in near identical fashion: Tom Cruise swiped level one then level two inside two minutes, Bandit repeated the exact sequence half an hour later, and mahoni06 closed it out again before 2am. No one grid saw more traffic. Elsewhere the puzzle rooms kept their usual habit of vanishing within seconds of unlocking, except for one that sat solved and unlooted for eight hours and forty seven minutes before someone finally claimed it at 22:10 Wednesday.
Abandoned Supermarket draws the week's heaviest monument traffic
Eight separate skirmishes ran through the Abandoned Supermarket this week, more than any other site on the map, with Indigo alone returning to it three times. The Dome was not far behind at seven. The week's only logged player against player kill needed no distance at all: at 00:36 Thursday, Zaxaries put a rocket_hv into dumefrick at grid L25 from point blank range.
A point blank rocket ends dumefrick's night at grid L25
Seventy six hours on the season clock and a top ten spot on the board did not save dumefrick from a rocket_hv fired at zero distance. Zaxaries delivered it at 00:36 Thursday, and whatever dumefrick was doing at grid L25 stopped being relevant immediately afterward. The island does not care how many hours are logged. It only cares who fired last.
MalcolmReynolds14 out-harvests the entire island overnight
Between 22:03 Wednesday and 01:47 Thursday, MalcolmReynolds14 pulled fifteen separate harvests from the ground, cycling through yellow, blue, green, and white berries plus a pumpkin, never repeating the same gene string twice. The same account's life-story ledger, logged at 01:01 Thursday, put the current life at 35 hours and 13 minutes alive, 718 player kills, 280 scientists, and just two minutes and thirty six seconds of sleep in all that time. Whatever the schedule looked like, it did not include rest.
The wheel gives TooBy just enough rope
TooBy opened Thursday morning by handing the big wheel 874 scrap across two bets at 06:07, both busts. By 08:54 the wheel paid back twice, 826 scrap apiece, before a final 413 scrap bet at 08:56 vanished with nothing returned. Net for the session: a loss, despite the two headline payouts. Later that morning dkc ran a rapid escalation at the same table, stakes climbing from 12 scrap to 121 scrap in seven minutes, cashing a 242 scrap payout near the top. Cheaper tastes were served elsewhere: mungo fed the caboose slot machine eight scrap a spin for a modest 20 back, while a second regular put in nine spins at two scrap each for a single 15 scrap return.
Loli Chan clears a crate field in under four minutes
Ten underwater crates came up between 20:11 and 20:15 Thursday, all to Loli Chan, barely pausing for air. Widwido put in the longer shift, three separate dives strung across Thursday and Friday totalling somewhere north of two and a half hours submerged, the last of them running a full hour and seven minutes before surfacing at 12:46 Friday. The week's first plunge belonged to 2eZ | Vegus, thirty eight minutes down starting at 12:37 Thursday.
Di Sisto's turns the dock into a one man cannery
From the small hours of Thursday through Friday evening, Di Sisto's landed 26 fish off the same stretch of water, trout, perch, and catfish in no particular order, including a run of nine fish in ninety minutes before dawn on Friday. Not every line fared as well: one resident's hook came up with a waterjug Saturday morning instead. Elsewhere the scrap vendor paid its top rate of 750 scrap 23 times this week, up from 11 the week before, and the car shredder took eighteen vehicles apart across three separate sessions, none of them with an owner logged.
Masatron's one night touches four grids and a purge win
Between 22:00 Wednesday and 01:22 Thursday, Masatron swiped through L7, M6, N12, and K13, cracked M6's elite crate three times in the space of thirteen seconds, banked a purge win at 22:59, and learned fourteen new skills across three separate bursts, one of them four skills in three seconds flat. All this while dropping 71 scrap on a wheel bet that paid nothing back. The night's life-story snapshot put the tally at 70 player kills and 109 scientists in a single life. Elsewhere on the ledger, two long lives came to a close: sanchodadirty's 29 hour run, 199 kills deep, had reset to a fresh 8,916 seconds by Thursday afternoon, and MalcolmReynolds14's own account logged 35 hours and 13 minutes alive with 718 kills to its name, the biggest single figure on this week's board by a wide margin.
Whether CyanN's extra forty one hours ever close the 190 NPC gap on TooBy, or whether the board simply rewards efficiency over time served.
Whether Masatron's four grid, one purge night was a single spectacular showing or the start of a run up the standings.
Whether Saturday's thundery weather was a one off or the first sign of a rougher back half, with fifteen days still left on the season clock.
