SEASON 2026-07 FINALE / PURE, purepve.battlezone.gg

Nine Thousand Hours, Zero Duels, One Very Committed Fisherman

The July island closes on Thursday 6 August at 2PM Eastern, and it closes with a peculiar distinction: 3,068 deaths were recorded across the month and not one of them was delivered by another resident. Whatever killed the people of Pure in July, it was the terrain, the wildlife, the scientists, the armour and gravity. The residents themselves went 539 strong and never once turned on each other.

What they turned on instead was the scenery. They broke 84,741 barrels, cut 46.4 million wood, hauled 20.7 million stone and 15.9 million metal ore out of the ground, and pushed 215,942 deployables into the dirt. They fired 486,847 bullets and 16,004 rockets, and 228 Bradleys came apart under them. Across all of it, 9,417 hours were spent standing on that map.

One housekeeping note, said once: the event wire went live only at the very end of this wipe, so July has no minute-by-minute record. There are no ticker rows, no weather ledger, no obituaries and no casino ledger in this issue because none exist. From next wipe onward the paper can tell the smaller stories too, the ones with a time and a place attached.

Monuments and alarms

Pure opened more locked crates than both sibling islands combined

The alarms desk is where July made its argument. Pure cracked 1,329 hackable crates while Survival managed 669 and Hardcore 496, which means this island sat through more red timers than the other two put together. dAjOsh42069 personally accounted for 148 of them, more than double the next resident, DoctorDampener, on 66, with Tevidean third on 49. The airdrop trade was even more concentrated: 1,212 drops came down in July and SortaRican collected 107 of them, with gloobie on 70 and nobody else in double figures beyond Sofa's 28.

Armour was the other Pure speciality. The island destroyed 228 Bradleys against 47 on Survival and 11 on Hardcore, and Tevidean took 25 of them alone, which is more Bradleys than the whole of Hardcore managed twice over. potato aim and K9unit tied on 17 apiece. Helicopters were harder to come by at 131 downed, with DoctorDampener on 10, lll RED ll on 9 and Snake Hates Crocs on 8. The card economy ran through Stannivs, who swiped 89 green and 40 blue, while sp3cialolymp1an held the red door with 21 swipes.

486,847 bullets and not one of them aimed at a neighbour

19,513 scientists fell in July. sp3cialolymp1an took 902 of them, Liffin 794 and gloobie 731. gloobie also led the noise: 17,837 bullets fired and 3,686 head hits, which is nearly seven percent of every head hit on the island. Across all residents the rate held at roughly one head hit in nine rounds. Sniper Monkey worked quieter, sending 653 of the island's 10,203 arrows.

The demolition ledger belonged to a small crowd. Profilnavn threw 371 C4 and fired 1,687 rockets, SortaRican followed with 283 and 1,586, and gloobie with 235 and 1,561. Jorg_11B led satchels on 383 and molotovs on 133. Freedom threw 168 beancans, a quarter of the island's entire supply. 6,116 traps and 202 cupboards did not survive the month.

The farm report

Tevidean picked 10,538 plants and then went out for Bradleys

122,853 plants came off the ground in July and Tevidean bent over 10,538 of them, ahead of Snake Hates Crocs on 6,311 and hAerial Potter on 6,102. The same resident led stone with 940,225 and deployables with 21,000, which suggests a month spent almost entirely bent at the waist when not shooting armour.

The hunt was steadier. 15,673 animals were taken, led by Stannivs on 428, Snake Hates Crocs on 340 and dAjOsh42069 on 332. Wood was the island's true crop: 46.4 million logs, with dAjOsh42069 on 1,373,536, potato aim on 1,325,165 and Jorg_11B on 1,272,291, three residents within a hundred thousand of each other after a month of swinging.

The last scrap month ends with 104,462 structures standing in the way

Pure built 104,462 pieces of building and set down 215,942 deployables, which works out at roughly four hundred placed objects per resident, though the distribution was nothing like that even. Pazz put up 4,802 structures, dAjOsh42069 3,519 and potato aim 2,832. Tevidean's 21,000 deployables doubled the next two, Snake Hates Crocs on 10,525 and potato aim on 10,402. The crafting benches ran 109,929 items, with gloobie on 3,154, dAjOsh42069 on 2,840 and lb6creed on 2,566.

Supply came mostly out of one pair of hands. potato aim led metal ore with 1,012,102, sulfur with 476,187 and high quality metal with 4,483 of the island's 66,065, a clean sweep of the three stats that decide what a base can survive. Mojo_Jojo808 and Mr FIGGO chased the metal, Tevidean and PJ chased the high quality.

The deep sea desk

Half the island's fish belong to boreaux13

539 residents spent 9,417 hours on Pure and between them caught 394 fish. boreaux13 caught 189 of them. Atstek is second with 45 and Tevidean third with 39, which means three people account for 273 of the total and everybody else split the remaining 121 over a full month. Survival landed 777 fish and Hardcore 555 with fewer players each, so this was not a shortage of water. It was a shortage of interest, patiently corrected by one resident with a rod.

The records board

Twenty one residents over a hundred hours, two hundred and three under one

The July population split hard. Of 539 residents, 203 logged under an hour and never came back, 117 passed a full day, and 21 crossed a hundred hours. The mean of 17.5 hours describes almost nobody. GrandpaDrudge finished on 251 hours, the longest stay on the island, and broke 3,449 barrels doing it, one barrel in every twenty five that fell all month. GrandpaRoger1 logged 211 hours, SlipNBleed1100 194, Snake Hates Crocs 192 and Stannivs 181.

174 residents put in ten hours or more and never killed another player, which on this island is not restraint so much as house rules. Set against the siblings, Survival's 890 residents killed 157,653 scientists to Pure's 19,513 and downed 630 helicopters to Pure's 131, while Pure took four times as much armour as the other two islands combined. Different islands, different appetites.

Watch next week
W1

The new map lands Thursday 6 August at 2PM Eastern and the wire will be running from the first minute. Expect timestamps, obituaries and a casino ledger in the wipeday issue, and expect the first named death on the board within hours of the gates opening.

W2

The hacking habit is the one to track. Pure opened 1,329 locked crates in July, more than Survival and Hardcore combined, and dAjOsh42069 cracked 148 of them alone. Watch whether the fresh rigs get the same attention in week one, and who files the new season's first complaint about crate timers.

W3

Three July records look soft and three look armoured. Watch whether anyone challenges boreaux13's 189 fish, whether Tevidean returns for a second run at 25 Bradleys, and whether GrandpaDrudge's 251 hours survives contact with a fresh island. The wipeday issue will put three predictions on the record and the next finale will grade them.
