Rules

What we expect

Some rules apply everywhere. Others only make sense on one side. We have marked which is which so you are not reading PvE rules before a solo wipe run.

EverywhereApplies to all six servers
  1. No racism, homophobia, or sexism. We have zero tolerance. This is the one we never negotiate on.
  2. No cheating, scripting, or exploiting. If a bug gives you an advantage, report it instead of farming it.
  3. No VAC or game bans in the last 180 days. Rust game bans need a full year of clean history, and we do not allow ban evasion, suspicious alts, or VPN use to get around it.
  4. Do not accuse people of cheating in chat. Public accusations start arguments and tip off the people we are actually investigating. Use F7, /report, or a Discord ticket.
  5. Keep signs and art PG. No politics, no pornography, no hate imagery.
  6. Never block a monument. Building to deny access to anyone else is not allowed.
PvP onlySolo, Duo and Quad
  1. Respect the team limit on your server. Solo is one, Duo is two, Quad is four. Every PvP server we run is capped.
  2. No teaming past your limit. Sharing loot, bases, respawn points, or callouts with anyone outside your team counts as teaming.
  3. Brief encounters are fine, staying together is not. You have roughly ten seconds to engage or disengage. After that, fight or separate.
  4. No C4 or rocket raiding for the first 48 hours. From the Thursday wipe until Saturday at 2PM Eastern. Every other raiding method is allowed.
  5. No alt accounts for storage or scouting. One account per player, per wipe.
  6. Trade through safe zones at fair value. No one-sided transfers, giveaways, or paying another player to raid, scout, or farm for you.
  7. Raiding is fair game. KOS, door camping, counter-raiding, online and offline raiding are all permitted.
PvE onlyPure, Survival and Hardcore
  1. No killing, stealing, or raiding other players. Player damage is disabled. Do not look for ways around it.
  2. First player at an event or monument has loot priority. That covers puzzles, Bradley, the helicopter, and supply drops.
  3. Take turns. Do not monopolise monuments or events while other people are waiting.
  4. Whoever starts a raidable base finishes it. Loot locks to the first attacker and we enforce the cooldowns.
  5. Do not take vehicles with engine parts in them, even when they are unlocked.
  6. Do not block rivers or waterways, and do not spam external cupboards to claim land you are not using.
  7. Be willing to work with other players. This side of the community runs on people not being difficult with each other.
